Hey Alexandra, Thank you for sharing your experiences with functional freeze. The strategies work really well, don't they! I think it's super important to keep releasing the stored up traumatic energy in the body, by just a few simple exercises and plenty of movement. This creates a feeling of safety and comfort within the body and an awareness of how powerful and capable we are of releasing it.
