Hi dear one :)
A year ago I dreamed of doing the work that I’m doing now.
As I look back at my process, I can see I was always moving toward what I desired. I was always following the feeling in my body, the knowing in my bones. And I learnt to do that while honouring my unique blueprint.
Someone asked me the other day: “What do you think slowed you down or made this process take longer?”
I had to smile: “Oh, I don’t see it as having been too slow. It has all been, and still is, unfolding exactly as it needs to.”
This is the kind of trust I’ve been cultivating along the way. And it all began when I understood that safety in my nervous system was the foundation for my healing—and my ability to take action toward what really matters to me.
Our capacity to be authentically ourselves in the world is directly linked to how safe our nervous systems and psyches feel to do so.
Our capacity to go after what we want, express our needs, and act on our preferences depends on whether we have felt safe doing that in the past.
Our capacity to tend to others, connect, and engage with the world and stay with ourselves depends on knowing where we begin and where the world begins.
Our capacity to stay in integrity with our experience—and not abandon ourselves to fit in—is shaped by how large our window of tolerance is for discomfort, polarity, and complexity.
Our capacity to do the things that scare us grows when we can take small steps in fear, while noticing we’re still alive, still here, still breathing.
So how does this work support you?
This work gives you a space to explore new ways of being, experiencing, and understanding yourself.
It helps you learn and decode the language of your body.
It guides you to open your own unique process of self-discovery.
It’s not even about forcing transformation—you’re already on that path.
And it’s never about pushing yourself to be somewhere other than where you are. We always begin with what’s here now.
It’s about learning to hold the charge of what you’re feeling. Understanding it. Seeing yourself with fresh lens—in your own life and in relationship to the world.
That’s the brilliance of this work. We descend into the body and let it show us where the work lies. We move from the present moment into what’s accessible and possible. We grow our capacity to hold ourselves in what we’re in, without escaping, abandoning, or sabotaging.
As a result, we become more human, more kind, more tolerant. And from that place, we move a little differently in the world—more spacious, more open, more resourced.
✨ If any of this resonates, I’d love to invite you to my class Somatics of Authenticity on 16th July at 17:30 CEST.
You can find all the details here ♡✨
Authenticity begins with safety. And safety starts in the body.
I’d love to see you there!
